Before leaving for your bike tour

Prior to departure. Every guest will receive a full itinerary and breakdown with all departure details, rendezvous points, pre and post travel and hotel arrangements, a full list of all clothing and packing requirements, passport and visa requirements and a full description of the travel protection plan.

Guests will be responsible for their own insurance provision.

Passport & Visas are the responsibility of the guests although Pedal England representatives are always on hand to support our guests with any questions or queries.

Special dietary needs. Provided with adequate notice we will endeavour to provide for your full dietary requirements.

What to remember before leaving for your bike tour

• To fill in the terms and conditions on the Pedal England website
• Personal insurance to partake in activities for each member of the tour party. Please contact the office should you have any queries.
• Passports and other documentation. All guests will require a valid passport and other travel documentation as required.
• Money. UK pounds sterling.
• Luggage. All luggage will be transferred on a daily basis between hotels.

Your cycle tour essesntials

• Cycling shorts
• A pair of long cycling pants
• A number of cycling tops, t-shirts etc
• Cycling socks / normal socks
• Cycling gloves, if required - Pedals and cycling shoes (should guests want to bring their own)
• Waterproof cycling jacket
• Wind-proof cycling jacket
• Sunglasses
• All toiletries, including sun tan cream!
• Small rucksack / day carry bag (possibly one between two or even four)
• Evening wear. Casual dress is fine for all evening meals although the hotels will not accept ripped jeans / football shirts / singlets etc
• Plugs and adaptors for charging mobile phones / smart phones / lap-top computers
