What’s Included?

Prices
Pedal England tours are essentially fixed price.

Accommodation
We offer two distinct accommodation choices, Prestige and Country. Prestige Hotels. At our Prestige hotels all accommodation on a dinner, bed and breakfast is included in the price. All dining is up to the exacting standards one would expect from classic English hotels, including local delicacies and specialties which reflect the best the region has to offer. The hotels are appointed in stunning countryside, by trout rivers, fields of corn or in the centre of beautiful small market towns and villages. The hotels are winners of the Conde Naste Johansens Award 2009.

Village hotels. Our country hotels are quintessentially English small hotels and pubs which offer the best value accommodation food and ambience in the region. Situated in villages and market towns are ideal for relaxed informal dining, excellent service and clean, comfortable accommodation.

All accommodation is on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. Lunches are generally taken at local cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is also a daily coffee stop in the morning and afternoon tea stop in the afternoons. Lunches and morning / afternoon stops are not included in the quoted price.

Guides and Support
Everyone at Pedal England is born and raised in the areas where our tours begin, travel through and end – we know every village, every hill and every pub on the route! Our guides have the inside local knowledge to ensure your tour is memorable and will take care of each and every whim you have – you just have to ask!

At least one guide will also cycle with you on your tour, with one bike mechanic in the support vehicle, at all times to help you up the hills!

Our guides will also fit you with your bike, take care of any minor issues, change your tires as required. All luggage is transferred from accommodation to accommodation on a daily basis.

Our Bikes
All our bikes are from the Giant and are from the Defy range for men and the CRS range for women.

Attractions
The tours also includes entry into a number of different attractions, depending on the tour chosen. The attractions include Stonehenge, The Roman Baths in Bath, Sudeley Castle, The Shakespeare Tour, Blenheim Palace and a walking tour of Oxford.

Cycle Gear
Bike hire, helmets and all other cycling gear is provided within the price. Please bring your own cycle clothes and pedals should you want to. Tours will normally be for between 10 and 14 people, but larger groups can also be catered for. All equipment, including the state of the art Pedal England bikes, is meticulously checked and maintained to ensure it matches the highest standards.

Our Ethos
We understand that everybody has a different vision of "the perfect trip" and therefore we can tailor each tour to ensure it matches with your expectations and requirements. Guests are free to stride out on their own at any time they like. In addition, should guests want to spend less time in the saddle and more time visiting one of the world heritage sites or shopping in the boutiques of a unique Cotswold town, they are free to do so. Pedal England caters for groups, clubs and associations, in addition to families, singles and solos.
